Aloha Summer Paddle
Looking for a little mid-week fun? Our friends at Mt. Gear are hosting the Aloha Summer Paddle on the Spokane River at McKinstry on Wednesday, August 10th at 6:30 p.m. Click here for directions to this delightful flat water section of the Spokane River just upstream from the downtown Convention Center.
Participants will meet up with their canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddle boards. Rentals available from Mt. Gear for those that need them.
The expedition will paddle up the river for about a half an hour, then paddle back down the river to the Division street bridge, and eventually back to the McKinstry Building. A Hawaiian themed BBQ will follow at 7:30 pm.
“I can’t think of a better way to spend a Wednesday night than paddling on the Spokane River with friends and family,” says Phil Bridgers, coordinator of the event. “It’s a great opportunity to meet other paddlers.”
