Geographic Response Plan Workshop for the Spokane River

Members of the public and the oil spill response community have an opportunity to attend a Geographic Response Plan (GRP) Workshop for the Spokane River. The meeting will be held:

10:30am-12pm, (ending before noon if Q&A ends early)

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

Spokane Public Library (Downtown)

906 West Main, Spokane, 99201

The Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other partners involved in oil spill prevention, preparedness and response will host the workshops.

The workshop is scheduled to occur in advance of the planned complete update of Chapter 4 of the GRP for the Spokane River GRP in 2009. The meeting is intended to provide an introduction to what GRPs are and guide the public on how to best provide feedback.
