DAA Auto Body Center steps up as Water to Wine sponsor
So what does a collision repair shop have in common with fly fishing on the Spokane River? Local ownership.
DAA Auto Body Center, with locations on the South Hill and West Plains, is locally owned by a gentleman named Bob. He’s a busy guy who oversees these shops and three wholesale auto auctions located in Spokane, Seattle and Kansas City.
Like of all of us running from task to task, Bob has a hobby to unwind and relax. For him, it’s angling. His angling adventures have done more than taken him to far flung places. They have given him a greater appreciation of what’s outside our backdoor.
Says Bob, “The Spokane River is a local gem that most folks don’t get exposure to. It’s an underutilized asset to our community and it’s full potential needs to be realized.”
The solution? River access. Continues Bob, “Access will expose the Spokane River to a broader population and provide yet another great recreation option to the folks that live here in part because they love the great outdoors.”
He sees the Glover access and restoration project as “A centerpiece because it’s an amazing natural resource running right through our city. When we embrace something like this, we know from experience how it advances our community image and our uniquely Spokane quality of life.”
