Mirabeau Point restoration starts October 1, Volunteers needed
Thanks to a grant from REI, Mirabeau Point restoration activities will begin October 1st and continue October 29th. Register now.
Join the Veterans Conservation Corps in helping with volunteer efforts. Their mission is to assist veterans by providing training and volunteer opportunities that help to restore and protect Washington State’s natural resources. Said Seth Maier, who coordinates Corps activities in the Spokane Area, “Environmental projects like this are a great way to help vets connect with college students and others in the community. We hope you join us.”
Kick off of the Mirabeau Point project is being done in concert with Spokane River Clean-Up. October 1st is a great day for everyone to live by the motto “Our River … Our Community.”
