Recording & Reporting Results

You must submit your sampling data that you obtained during each reporting period on a Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) form. The results, from each sample, must be submitted within 45 days of the end of each reporting period.

DMRs can be submitted electronically using the Department of Ecology’s WAWebDMR system or it can be mailed to the following address:

A DMR must be submitted regardless of whether there was a discharge during the reporting period or if no sample was taken.

Additionally, you must submit an Annual Report to the Department of Ecology that includes any corrective action documentation.

KEEP RECORDS FOR 5 YEARS:

You must maintain the following records (on-site) for a minimum of 5 years:

  • Copy of the permit
  • Copy of permit coverage letter
  • Records of all sampling information
  • Inspection reports
  • Any other documentation of compliance with permit requirements
  • All equipment calibration records
  • All BMP maintenance records
  • All original recordings for continuous sampling instrumentation
  • Copies of laboratory reports
  • Copies of all reports required by this permit
  • Records of all data used to complete the application for this permit.
