Year to date, over 1,200 volunteers have helped collect over 24,000 lbs of trash.
August is a critical time for river cleanup because the shoreline, and therefore trash, is at maximum exposure.
With our partners at Spokane Riverkeeper, a big thanks to Spokane Indians Baseball, Morrison Maierle, Spokane Regional Health District and SNAP for providing volunteers to get after it with shoreline and on-water cleanups. And let’s not forget Flow Adventures and Wiley Waters, outfitters supporting our on-river cleanups.
We’re all rowing together for a clean river.
