Take the City of Spokane’s Climate Policy Survey
Do you have thoughts on water use and other resources related to local climate policy? The City of Spokane wants your input on this survey. The results of the survey will influence policies which will be integrated into the Comprehensive Plan to direct city actions on climate change.
In our mission to connect the community with information related to water, the Spokane River Forum wants to help the City get this survey to as many people as possible.
A survey sent out earlier this year received 1,500 responses, which contributed to the creation of the City of Spokane Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment.
If you are interested in sharing your thoughts, opinions, and/or expertise on an array of climate-related topics, your responses to this survey are valued.
The survey is open until August 31, 2025, and is available in English, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, Arabic, and Marshallese.
To stay updated with ongoing information and public comment opportunities, the City of Spokane’s Climate Resilience and Sustainability Board conducts monthly public meetings which are free and open to the public. The Board brings together broad and diverse voices from the community, and each meeting begins with a public comment period during which citizens are invited to address any topic not on the agenda. You can learn more and find meeting schedules through this link.
