Celebrating 30 Years of River Cleanup

The logo don’t lie. 30 years ago the Northwest Whitewater Association (NWA) started “River Fest.” Said Paul Delaney, NWA’s President, we had about 250 participants who — thanks to sponsors — all received a T-shirt and a BBQ burger.”

And you’ll see Paul and Bart Raynak are still at it 30 years later. “Back then,” said Paul, “the key movers were myself, club president Jim Paul, and Dave and Kimm Jeffries. The photo with Mayor Geraghty shows him thanking us.”
