Join over 200 friends and colleagues for a full day of exploring the theme “Calibrating Water Solutions in the Era of Climate Change.”

“The time has come,” said Forum Executive Director Andy Dunau “to get to the nitty gritty of how our communities are preparing and implementing water solutions for a changing climate.”

Our keynote speaker is John Matthews, co-founder and Executive Director of the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation (AGWA). He has led development of new climate risk methodologies specific to water that are being used in dozens of countries.

What makes John unique is his ability to provide a framework and offer common-sense, practical meaning to terms like resilience, sustainability, adaptation, and resilience. Within this context, he invites us to travel the globe with him as he shares national and international examples of what communities and nations are doing to meet water demands.

As the day unfolds, regional speakers will share how our communities are calibrating water solutions in the era of climate change. That includes the aquifer, water supply, stormwater, toxics, comprehensive planning, protecting lakes and streams, and more.

It’s a unique, eclectic group featuring tribal, state-wide, local agency and university knowledge and perspectives. The information and cross-talk will be amazing.
