Established in 1970, April 22 marks Earth Day, a nationwide celebration of environmental stewardship and conservation. Here in Spokane, the conservation community and local government agencies are hosting several special events all month long.
This year’s Spokane River Forum Conference builds on the theme of working together to protect our river and aquifer. Register today to take advantage of early bird registration rates!

Highlighted Events:
April 19 – Spokane River Cleanup (High Bridge Park) – Volunteers will help remove debris and restore the river’s natural beauty.
April 25 & 26 – Arbor Day & Earth Fest Activities – Multiple tree planting events, the Finch Arboretum Arbor Day Fair, and Earth Fest at Turnbull will showcase the importance of urban forestry and conservation.
April 26 – Earth Day Block Party (West Central Abbey) – A community gathering featuring local sustainability initiatives, music, and family-friendly activities.
