It’s River Rafting Time
“Leave boring behind,” says David Lawrence with Pangaea River Rafting. Not a problem right now for outdoor enthusiasts in Spokane. Right outside our back door the Spokane River awaits with spring time rafting adventure.
Putting in just below downtown, introductory riffles and rapids greet you as you travel through the iconic Great Gorge. Then it’s on to Class III – IV rapids as you pass through the Bowl and Pitcher and Devil’s Toe Nail. This adventure, however, is best done with professional guides like Pangaea and ROW Adventures.
Both these guides know that a trip on the Spokane River is best completed by combining it with a little downtown adventure. No harm and a lot of fun in following river adventure with wine tasting, food and good company.
This year, low snow pack means river flows are dropping fast. So don’t wait, get your family and friends signed up for a trip now!!
