Wanted: Bikers/Hikers/Riders to Map Spokane Area Trails

Do you have a GPS unit or a smartphone mapping app that you hike or bike with when you’re out on Spokane’s many miles of official and “unofficial” trails? Out There Monthly is looking for your GPS data to help fine-tune the Spokane County Regional Trail Plan by making sure that all well-used trails that are important for connecting public lands, parks, and neighborhoods are included in the plan. Once your favorite trail is included in the Plan’s trail inventory, it can be more easily added to the trail system if it’s on public land or if on private property, be preserved through the Conservation Futures Program and/or other funding sources.
