“You’re starting to see some amazing pieces come together,” said Spokane River Forum Executive Director Andy Dunau. “Millions of dollars are being invested along the Spokane River Corridor in treatment plant and stormwater upgrades to improve water quality. Add to that the Spokane River Water trail and new river access coming online each year. Now top that off with volunteer cleanup efforts like this.”

“What do you get?” continued Dunau. “A growing love affair with the river. It doesn’t matter whether you’re on the river, in the river or by the river, it’s all heart.”
