Spokane Waste and Recycle Directory Goes Live

Thanks to a grant from the Washington Department of Ecology, the Forum just went live with the new and improved Spokane Waste and Recycle Directory!! Check it out.

You can now search for 247 waste and 221 recycle types that connect with 411 public and private service providers. Said program coordinator Tonilee Hanson, “It’s something each of us can do to support a healthy environment that protects clean water for our aquifer and river.”

Over 53,000 people in Spokane and Kootenai County have used the directory this year. What a great testament to our community’s stewardship values.
