At the beautiful Hagadone Event Center overlooking Coeur d’Alene Lake, begin your day with a breakfast and networking.

The morning will then proceed with National Academy of Science presentations about the Coeur d’Alene Lake Water Quality Report; comments and updates from federal, tribal, state and local governments; and Q & A.

In 2021, the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) and Kootenai County cosponsored an $800 thousand National Academy of Sciences study to evaluate research assessing water quality conditions in Coeur d’Alene Lake. Of particular concern is the effect of historical mining activities in the Silver Valley contaminating millions of tons of lake sediments with metals such as zinc, arsenic, cadmium, and lead.

Please join us for this important conversation regarding the future of Coeur d’Alene Lake.
