Be a Willow Whip Warrior April 17th or 18th

Great volunteer opportunity to team up with The Spokane Conservation District’s Willow Warrior planting event this weekend. Get out on the water and join Trout Unlimited, The Lands Council, Spokane Community College and others to plant 3,000 mixed species of native willow plants. The focal area will be the lower portion of Hangman Creek, which is a very scenic and not often visited area. Restoration helps with soil stabilization and erosion control, wildlife habitat, stream health, stormwater management, and more.
