Spokane Tribe Seeks Comments on Revised Water Quality Standards

The Spokane Tribe of Indians is in the process of revising its Water Quality Standards and is seeking public comment. Changes to the Standards include the fish consumption rate, the water consumption rate, mixing zones provision and temperature. Our intent is to reach as many interested parties as possible and encourage organizations and individuals to forward this notice to all those they consider appropriate. Comments can be submitted by email, mail or can be voiced at a public hearing scheduled for October 1st from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Wellpinit Administration Building.
