Leave No Trace
The Outdoor Industry Association is reporting that “Americans have flocked to outdoor recreation amid COVID restrictions.” They are also reporting people are staying closer to home to recreate. Goodness knows we’re seeing it up and down the Spokane River.
When you’re out and about, please help model the seven principles of Leave No Trace Stewardship.
- Plan ahead and prepare
- Travel and camp on durable surfaces
- Dispose of waste properly
- Leave what you find
- Minimize campfire impacts
- Respect wildlife
- Be considerate of other visitors.
