Purpose

Spokane-Kootenai Waste Directory links businesses and residents to over 400 vendors who can help you properly dispose of hundred of waste and recycle types. The Waste Directory also provides information to understand the environmental impact of each waste and why proper disposal is vital for protecting our river, aquifer, land and air.

Acknowledgements

Creating the Spokane-Kootenai Waste Directory was inspired by the King County Waste Directory (Yellow Book) and the Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County, Washington , the Spokane Regional Solid Waste System “Getting Rid of it A-Z” (website retired) and the Department of Ecology Reducing Toxic Substance in our Environment.
