General Information

Transmission fluid, used motor oil and other crude-based products like hydraulic fluid, gear lube oils, metalworking oils and differential fluid may me mixed together and dropped off at one of the Transfer Stations' Household Hazardous Waste sites.

Do not add anything else or you run the risk of contaminating a batch of used oil and turning it into a hazardous waste. You can also take back transmission fluid to the site you purchased it at. Call them first to see how much they will take and specific requirements.
