Auto Transmission

Transmissions can go in the ferrous metals bin at a transfer station's recycling collection site. Transmissions do not belong in the curbside recycling bin. All oil and transmission fluid must be drained out and placed in separate containers. Auto fluids can be taken to transfer station's Household Hazardous Waste centers.
