You Need to Know
If your Service Provider is not listed, place the glass container in the trash. Glass containers must be clean. Place lids in the trash. No window glass or mirrors. Many service providers do not accept glass so, before placing glass in the curbside recycle bin or taking it to a drop off site, click on "Find Service Providers".

General Information
Spokane City residents can place glass in their curbside recycling bins.
Waste Management, Inc. in Spokane County and North Idaho and Sunshine Disposal do not accept glass in curbside recycle bins.
Kootenai County does not accept glass at the Transfer Stations.
Drop off facilities that accept glass include
- Coeur d'Alene Glass Recycling Centers,
- Waste to Energy Recycling Center,
- North County and Valley Transfer Stations.
- Some private vendors also accept glass - call first to confirm.
