A number of charities in Spokane would like you to donate your car to them:

The Arc of Spokane: Do you have an unwanted car, van, truck, RV or boat with trailer (running or not) you'd like to give to a good cause?  Donate it to The Arc of Spokane!  A salvage vendor will remove it from your property, free of charge, and give 90% of the sale proceeds to a chapter of The Arc of your choice. 
Habitat for Humanity: Your unwanted vehicle could help build more homes in our community. Donate your car, truck, boat, RV, motorcycle, construction or farm equipment and your contribution could bring hope for a family in our community. 
American Cancer Society: Rather than selling or trading in your used car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, RV, or boat on a trailer, consider donating it the American Cancer Society. Your car donation will help save lives that might otherwise be lost to the disease. 
Catholic Charities: We have chosen to work with CARS Inc., a national car donation organization, that will pick up your vehicle (whether it is in running or "dead" condition), make arrangements for its sale, then send the proceeds to us.  The gift we receive from the sale of your vehicle will help us continue to serve our clients and patrons. 

Another option for you is to recycle your vehicle, 90% of your car can be recycled. Metals can be smelted, purified and reused. Glasses and plastics can be melted down and reused. Here are recycling options.
