Catch Basin/Drywell Waste

A catch basin collects surface water runoff and channels it to the storm drain or to the sanitary sewer. Depending on the type of system, solids and sediments settle to the bottom. You are responsible for catch basins on your property. 

Look for a service that provides a vacuum truck to suck up the sediments. Make sure they will be properly disposed of at a permitted facility. If the sediments contain car wash residue, oils, chemicals or metals, they may need testing.
