Recyclable metals include copper, steel, lead, precious metals, alloys and others. Metal recyclers need clean metals, free of liquids and other hazardous substances such as asbestos, gases, fluids, elemental mercury, or PCBs. If metals were drained of petroleum oils or metalworking fluids, make sure it is properly contained.
