Plastic, 1 PETE and 2 HDPE are accepted in curbside recycle bins and at all Transfer Station Recycling drop off areas. Plastics 3-7 are not recyclable. Place in the trash.

Plastics can be categorized by resin codes found on or near the bottom of containers.
1 = PETE (or PET) Polyethylene Terephthalate: Commonly used to package soft drinks, water, beer, juice, sports drinks and other beverages, as well as edible oils, salad dressing, peanut butter, various condiments and sauces, and non-food products like household cleaners and personal products.
