Sludges accumulate in tanks and sumps. The residues or sediments that settle out of liquid solutions range in consistency from slurries (more liquid) to sludge (more solid). These sludges may be hazardous waste, depending on the constituents of the original solution. Contact a vendor to have sludge and slurries pumped out and disposed safely.
