Here, at the Spokane River Forum, we seek to promote a healthy river system for everybody to enjoy. This mission hinges on the good faith of all river visitors to practice the seven principles of Leave No Trace.
The Leave No Trace Seven Principles
- Plan Ahead and Prepare
- Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces
- Dispose of Waste Properly
- Leave What You Find
- Minimize Campfire Impacts
- Respect Wildlife
- Be Considerate of Other Visitors

Volunteer
The Spokane River Forum regularly organizes clean-up, riparian restoration, and water trail access projects. This spring, we’re focusing on projects at Mirabeau and Barker Road. This fall we’ll help sponsor Upriver Clean-up and hope to announce a major riparian project where we’ll need help with planting. Whether you’re an individual or group, contact us to join the list of people available to volunteer for one or more projects.
