You Need to Know
Do not place batteries in curbside trash or recycling bins. Alkaline batteries can be recycled at a number of commercial drop-off sites. Drop off at a Transfer Station Household Hazardous Waste collection site. In the City of Spokane, batteries may be placed in a clear zipped storage bag and placed on top of the curbside recycle bin.
