Tank, Butane

Many stores and gas stations have a program to exchange empty 20lb. (5 gal) propane tanks for a full one. The tanks must be in good condition.

Five gallon or smaller size tanks can be dropped off, free of charge, at one of the transfer station's Household Hazardous Waste sites. These do not belong in the curbside recycling bin.
